Implementation Managers generally specialise in a specific product area such as Custody or Funds Management portfolio of services. They act as Subject Matter Experts to coordinate the client requirements, vet these against the bank platforms and service parameters. They work with Clients, internal partners and where applicable, with Program Managers to deliver a specific stream of work for banking clients.

Job duties:
  • Manage Global Custody and/ or Funds project implementations ranging in complexity from moderate to complex
  • Confer with clients on solution, offer beneficial alternatives, collaborate across regions and countries and act as trusted advisor
  • Develop and review project plan
  • Determine key objectives, milestones, time frame, funding limitations, procedures for accomplishing project, and allotment of available resources to various phases of project
  • Confer with project staff to outline project plan and to assign duties, responsibilities, and scope of authority
  • Direct and coordinate activities of project personnel to ensure project progresses on schedule and within prescribed standards
  • Manage multiple implementations simultaneously (depending on size, scope and complexity)
  • Develop, review and communicate project plan(s) to peers and senior management; determine key objectives, milestones, time frame, funding limitations, procedures for accomplishing project, and allotment of available resources to various phases of project
  • Track, follow up and support all requests through to completion, advising all involved parties when a request is complete.
  • Drive partnership with other functional areas
  • Facilitate the completion of customer surveys and post implementation reviews with business partners.
  • Continuously seek to identify opportunities for efficiency and control improvements in the process and implement such improvements whenever possible.
Requirement:
  • 5+ years project related work experience
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience working on major Programs/Projects in a complex, global corporate setting
  • Project Management and SDLC lifecycle experience, waterfall and agile methodologies
  • Program management consultancy experience is a plus
