- Develop and implement a comprehensive investment strategy for the South East Asia region, with a specific emphasis on hotels, resorts, and related assets.
- Conduct thorough market research and analysis to identify potential investment opportunities, including market trends, competitive landscape, and investment risks.
- Evaluate potential investment opportunities, perform financial analysis, and conduct due diligence to assess the feasibility and profitability of real estate projects.
- Prepare detailed investment proposals, including financial models, investment memorandums, and presentations, to present to senior management and investment committees.
- Oversee the execution of real estate transactions, including negotiations, legal documentation, and closing processes, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies.
- Monitor and manage the performance of the real estate portfolio, including property valuations, market performance, and financial returns, and develop strategies to maximize returns and mitigate risks.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including legal, finance, and operations, to ensure seamless execution of investment strategies and proper asset management.
- Stay updated on industry trends, market dynamics, and regulatory changes affecting the real estate industry in South East Asia, and provide insights and recommendations to senior management.
- Provide leadership and mentorship to a team of real estate professionals, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.
- Bachelor's degree in finance, real estate, business administration, or a related field. A master's degree or CFA designation is strongly preferred.
- Proven experience as a real estate investment professional, with a focus on the South East Asia market, particularly in hotels, resorts, or related assets.
- In-depth knowledge of the South East Asia real estate market, including market trends, regulations, and key players.
- Strong financial acumen and analytical skills, with the ability to perform complex financial analysis, including financial modeling, valuation, and risk assessment.
- Demonstrated track record of successfully identifying and executing real estate investment opportunities, including sourcing, due diligence, and transaction management.
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with external stakeholders and internal teams.
- Fluency in English and Chinese is required. Proficiency in additional languages spoken in the South East Asia region is a plus.
