Posting Date: 2025-09-02Green Tomato LimitedScrum MasterThe jobholder will perform:Works with product managers and development teams to assure requirements are captured and recorded using the appropriate agile methodology, such as Scrum.Works as a Scrum Master within the teams to effectively fulfill project objectives.Develops a deep knowledge of all aspects of the project, helps define priorities, and effectively manages the planning, execution, and monitoring of a successful conclusion.Facilitates Sprint Planning, Release Planning, Daily Stand-Ups, Product Demos, and Sprint Retrospectives.Manage and effectively deliver features committed to the Release Train.Supports Product Owner in developing, maintaining and grooming Product BacklogRemoves impediments/blockers to keep teams productive.Identifies and manages dependencies with other internal or external teamsProvides metrics and status to leadership, program manager and project sponsorsSupport/Collaborate with team members to implement Agile/Scrum best practices, Provides and supports the implementation of business solutionsDiligently prepare and collate project progress/status, issues & risksDevelopment capacity planning and helping in the release scheduleInitiates build and maintain good relationships with IT and business management to help facilitate effective completion of project workPrepares project status reports, burndowns, and keeps management, product owners, and project stakeholders informed of project status and related issues.Adept at creating strong relationships that foster the spirit of innovation, improvement, and collaborative solutions and developments.Ability to quickly grasp technical concepts and communicate with external teams and stakeholdersAbility to work under tight deadlines and an iterative design process.Experience playing the Scrum Master role for at least two years for a software development team that was diligently applying Scrum principles, practices, and theories.What Talents we want:A minimum of 3 years of Scrum Master experience using Agile methodologiesStrong professional experiences in Agile developmentStrong technical aptitude and hands-on experiences working with technical teamsExcellent problem solving and conflict resolution skillsExcellent leadership and communication skills requiredExperience working in a matrix team consisting of contractors, teammates, and vendors with various skills and disciplinesSelf-starter with high energy to meet the needs of a demanding business and IT environmentDemonstrated strong business acumen to complement strong tactical execution skillsCertified Scrum MasterStrong communication, interpersonal and collaboration skillsHigh level of comfort with explicitly taking accountability and holding appropriate parties accountableExperience with communication tools such as PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Pages, VersionOne or similar Agile Portfolio Management Solution (Confluence, Jira, Greenhooper)Understanding and knowledge of unique factors and challenges of software development
