About the roleAmidas Hong Kong Limited is seeking an experienced Senior System Engineer or System Engineer to join our dynamic team. In this full-time position, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining complex network infrastructure solutions to support the company's business objectives. The role is based in our Lai Chi Kok office in the Sham Shui Po District.What you'll be doingDesigning and implementing robust, scalable, and secure network architecturesConfiguring and troubleshooting network devices, including routers, switches, and firewallsPerforming system upgrades, patches, and maintenance to ensure optimal network performanceCollaborating with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve network-related issuesProviding technical support and guidance to end-usersDocumenting network configurations, processes, and proceduresStaying up-to-date with the latest networking technologies and industry best practicesParticipate in project rollout, system integration, data migration, and technical troubleshootingCollaborate with customers, technology vendors, and internal teams to ensure seamless delivery of solutionsSupport post-implementation tasks including system tuning, maintenance, and upgrade planningCreate high-quality technical documentation and operational handover materialsWhat we're looking forDegree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field2+ years of experience in a similar role, preferably in the Information & Communication Technology industryProven expertise in designing, implementing, and maintaining complex network infrastructuresStrong knowledge of network protocols, technologies, and best practicesProficiency in configuring and troubleshooting network devices from leading vendorsExcellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skillsAbility to work independently and as part of a teamCertifications in networking, and experience in cybersecurity and cloud technology are a plusThe ideal people:Pro-active and strong motivation for picking up latest technology trendsExcellent teamwork and communication skillsExcellent interpersonal skills with a positive can-do attitudeMust be willing to work during non-office hour per project requirementFluent in spoken and written English and ChineseThe MOST IMPORTANT is to Keep Learning and Team Work:Keep Learning - The key to success is keep learning and learning from failure.
