Hong Kong Interbank Clearing LimitedHong Kong Interbank Clearing Limited (hereinafter referred to as “the Company”) is a private organization jointly owned by the Hong Kong Monetary Authority (HKMA) and The Hong Kong Association of Banks. The Company’s key objective is to develop and operate a safe and efficient multi-currency and multi-dimensional financial infrastructure in Hong Kong for:large-value interbank fund transfers denominated in HKD, USD, Euro and RMB;interbank money settlement of equity and debt securities transactions in Hong Kong via the linkages with the Hong Kong Securities Clearing Company Limited and the HKMA’s Central Moneymarkets Unit (CMU) system;small-value interbank fund transfers denominated in HKD and RMB via the HKD and RMB Faster Payment System; andinterbank clearing and/or money settlement of retail payments, such as paper cheques, autocredits, credit card payments, etc. in Hong Kong.The Company is also the operator of the HKMA’s CMU system.Apart from interbank clearing-and-settlement services, the Company and its subsidiaries also support the HKMA and the financial industry to foster the development of the financial technology (“FinTech”) ecosystem in Hong Kong.We are looking for a suitable candidate to take up the following job position.Head (Business Solutions)Major ResponsibilitiesResponsible for the delivery of FinTech projects and management of the production service of FinTech platformsCoordinate with internal cross-functional divisions and external vendors to ensure smooth operation of Fintech platformsCollaborate with business stakeholders, such as the Hong Kong Monetary Authority, Hong Kong Association of Banks and financial sector, to explore and develop new technological initiativesManage and coach the team to build secure, reliable and interoperable technological solutionsAssist the Chief Officer in maintaining healthy and sustainable financial results of projects and complying with statutory/regulatory requirementsFormulate technological policy and strategic plan to meet the business and regulatory requirementsIdentify industry trends and FinTech development to facilitate a better understanding of the needs of corporate and business partnersRequirementsUniversity degree in information technology or related disciplineMinimum 20 years of experience in information technology or FinTech solution development of which at least 10 years at managerial position in financial industryPossess strong knowledge of FinTech technologies such as blockchain, cloud-based application, cryptocurrencyProven track record in managing and delivery of FinTech initativesExtensive experience in project governance and managementStrong leadership, analytical, interpersonal, communication and management skillsGood understanding of the regulatory landscape in the financial sectorIn-depth knowledge of emerging FinTech trends and technologiesExcellent command of written and spoken English and Chinese as well as fluency in PutonghuaHow to Apply
