Date of Issue : 3 September 2025Position:Executive Assistant IRank:Executive Assistant IDepartment / Hospital:Division of Anatomical Pathology, Department of Pathology / Queen Mary HospitalSalary:HK$24,191 – HK$28,623 per monthUp to 5% of total basic salary as end-of-contract gratuity may be offered to contract staff upon completion of the contract subject to satisfactory performance.Key Responsibilities:1.Provide administrative and clerical support for the daily operation of the department and a clinic focused on providing genetic tests to patients and families with cancer.2.Carry out duties that includes filing, data entry, compiling statistics, statistics and record keeping; in particular, maintaining family pedigree database and files in the Department of Pathology office.3.Handle enquiries, patient referrals to the genetics and genomics clinic, including use of the Outpatient Appointment System (OPAS).4.Liaise with referring doctors and staff across different hospitals and clusters.5.Assist doctors and genetic counsellors in clinics and departmental operation.6.Liaise, coordinate and organize departmental programs and activities.7.Perform any other duties as assigned by supervisors.Entry Requirements:1.University Graduates with working experience; OR2.Has obtained a diploma in a specialized function with relevant working experience and completed F.5/ S.5 with:(a)5 subjects passed in HKCEE including English Language (Syllabus B) and Chinese Language, or equivalent; OR(b)5 subjects in HKDSE attaining the level specified below:
  • Level 2 in English Language and Chinese Language, and
  • Level 2 in New Senior Secondary subjects/ “Attained” in Applied Learning subjects (subject to a maximum of 2 subjects under this category)/ Grade E in Other Language subjects, or equivalent.
Preferable Attributes / Exposure:1.With relevant knowledge or working experience in areas related to genetics and genomics of cancer (e.g. Degree or Diploma in Biomedical or science-related subjects, knowledge or work experience in handling family pedigree and simple clinical data; working experience in managing patient database).2.Good command in both written and spoken English and Chinese (including Cantonese).3.Ability to perform typing, word processing and / or Chinese word processing.4.Good command in computer software in MS office such as MS Word, Excel, Access, Powerpoint.5.Self-motivated, good communication and interpersonal skills and able to work independently.QualificationsRemarks:1.
