Colliers Research has clear and ambitious goals for production of strategic, rigorous and actionable research, and for integration of the product across the region. We are currently recruiting for an aspiring real-estate professional to join the research team in Hong Kong. This position provides an excellent platform for one to gain cross sectional market insights, including Investments, Office, Logistics and Retail. This position will provide the opportunity to work closely with internal stakeholders, market leaders and clients across multiple functions.Key Responsibilities:
  • Be accountable for the management of business analytics in the Investments, Commercial, Office, Logistics and Retail sectors in Hong Kong.
  • Play an integral part in the preparation of a wide of Research and Advisory projects and presentation materials for internal and external purposes to stakeholders.
  • Proactively building and maintaining the property market related databases, including land use plans and development strategies
  • Review and manage business insights in a consistent, accurate and comprehensive manner.
  • Handle and facilitate ad hoc tasks for external and internal clients, and ensure the tasks are handled professionally and on schedule.
  • Carry out other assignments or business development initiatives as directed by senior team members.
  • Creative with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Qualifications
  • Undergraduate / Master's degree holder in Real Estate, Urban Studies, Town Planning, Business, Economics or other related disciplines
  • Minimum of 1 to 3 years of relevant experience in real estate, urban planning or professional research firm environment.
  • High numeracy with strong understanding of forecasting models is a plus.
  • Good analytical and communication skills, both written and oral, to articulate research findings and opinions succinctly
  • Highly proficient in English and Chinese
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office software (especially Excel and PowerPoint)
