- Register credit and market risk limits promptly in various systems by processing new facilities, renewals, amendments, suspensions or terminations according to approved credit applications while ensuring strict adherence to established guidelines and rules.
- Prepare clear and accurate Terms & Conditions documentation for credit facilities in alignment with official credit approvals, maintaining consistency across all records.
- Generate daily control reports to monitor ongoing activities within the department, ensuring all information is up-to-date and discrepancies are addressed swiftly.
- Monitor monthly reports related to approved conditions or instructions, ensuring deadlines are consistently met and all required information is accurately captured.
- Assist in preparing timely due date control reports that support effective management of credit portfolios and facilitate proactive decision-making.
- Communicate regularly with relationship managers and other stakeholders regarding credit control matters, fostering positive working relationships built on trust and understanding.
- Participate actively in discussions aimed at enhancing departmental workflows and systems, contributing valuable insights based on your experience.
- Support user acceptance testing (UAT) for system enhancements by providing feedback on usability and functionality from an operational perspective.
- Develop practical recommendations for continuous improvement initiatives within the department and assist with their implementation as needed.
- Adhere strictly to all relevant policies and guidelines while handling additional ad hoc assignments as directed by management.
- Tertiary education or above is required to ensure you have the foundational knowledge necessary for success in this analytical role.
- At least 2 years of relevant experience in credit administration or a related field is preferred; however, candidates with less experience or recent graduates may also be considered for an Administrator position.
- A sound understanding of policies and processes relating to credit controls is essential for maintaining compliance within the department.
- Proficiency in MS Office applications enables you to efficiently manage data entry tasks, generate reports, and communicate findings clearly.
- Excellent organisational skills allow you to handle multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining high levels of accuracy under tight deadlines.
- Strong attention to detail ensures that all data enteredinto systems is correct and that documentation aligns precisely with approved terms.
