It has grown to become the largest publicly listed life insurance group in the Asia-Pacific region. The company operates in 18 markets across Asia, offering a wide range of products including life, health, and accident insurance, as well as retirement planning and wealth management solutions.They are seeking a hands-on Information Security Specialist to drive key initiatives in Identity & Access Management and vulnerability management, while developing Python-based tools to automate security processes and enhance data analysis. This role plays a critical part in strengthening the cybersecurity posture and ensuring compliance .Job Description
  • Develop and maintain Python-based tools and scripts to automate security processes, analyze data, and streamline operations.
  • Execute the implementation of security policies and standards across local systems to ensure data integrity, confidentiality, and availability.
  • Execute key security initiatives especially in Identity & Access Management (IAM) and vulnerability area
  • Conduct IAM reviews and manage access controls, ensuring compliance with internal policies and external regulations.
  • Oversee vulnerability scanning, risk prioritization, and coordinate remediation efforts with cross-functional teams.
  • Support security assessments for applications and infrastructure, offering actionable recommendations to reduce risk.
  • Track and report on audit findings, focusing on timely resolution of IAM and vulnerability-related issues.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to enhance security awareness and embed best practices across the organization.
The Successful Applicant
  • A degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • 3-5 years of experience in information security, ideally within the financial sector.
  • Hands-on experience with Python for scripting, automation, or data analysis in a security context.
  • Solid understanding of IAM frameworks and vulnerability management practices.
  • Familiarity with IT risk, audit, or project management is a plus.
  • Professional certifications like CISSP, CISA, or CISM are advantageous.
  • Strong communication skills in English and Chinese.
