ESTATES OFFICECAMPUS SUSTAINABILITY SECTIONSenior Officer / Officer (23240481)Responsibilities:

Implement strategic sustainability programmes conducive to improving the University’s performance in energy saving, carbon emission reduction, waste reduction and water consumption reduction;
Regularly collect, consolidate and analyse different qualitative and quantitative sustainability data;
Assist in preparing sustainability reports, benchmarking and analysing relevant research findings;
Provide support and guidance on sustainability features for development and renovation projects;
Assist in organising different engagement activities to promote sustainability on campus;
Provide support for the management of communication channels to promote sustainability, including emails, websites, and social media pages;
Communicate with internal and external stakeholders; and
Perform any other tasks as assigned.

Requirements:

Possess a recognised bachelor’s degree or above, preferably in the field of Sustainability, Energy, Building Services, Environmental Engineering, Environmental Science, Environmental Management, Science or related discipline with at least 6 years of relevant post-qualification experience;
Candidates with professional member qualifications such as HKIQEP, BEAM Pro or Affiliate and LEED AP would be an advantage;
Preference will be given to candidates with knowledge of and experience in green buildings, energy management, building services, carbon audit, waste management, sustainability report writing and/or data analysis;
Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese/Cantonese; and
Good interpersonal, communication and organisational skills.
