- Define, develop and implement a data analytics strategy for the corporate
- Restructure the data framework and consolidate multiple data sources into centralized data centre/ platform
- Maintain close communication and collaboration with business heads across different divisions; understand their needs and drive the team to provide actionable data solutions
- As Data Head to manage the team's P&L, performance and its execution of data analytics initiatives
- Keep abreast of latest technology in town, perform pitching and develop POC to C-level for new technologies that could bring into the corporate (e.g. data analytics platform, machine learning models, data science, AI etc.)
- Drive a team of 7 to perform data analytics, modelling and science across customer profiles and spending patterns, turn data into insights, with presentations to C-Level
- As Change Agent to influence & drive data-driven culture; work closely with CDO to drive digital innovation across the corporate
- Degree or above in Business Admnistration, Information Systems, Statistics, Data Science or relevant disciplines
- 3+ years' taking Head of Data position covering data analytics, management and,or science
- Strong leadership capability; Decisive in making commercial decisions; able to give a clear direction to the team and corporate
- Strong in defining data strategy, develop structured data framework with a consolidated cloud platform (Azure is a plus)
- Strong business sense with technical skillset
- Experience in (B2C & B2B) customer analytics and predictive modelling (derive patterns and segments in a diverse pool of customer data); Able to turn data into business insights
- Understanding of data science & machine learning models
- Good understanding of data governance, data quality, reference data and data lineage is strongly preferred.
- Familiarity with data privacy and security regulations.
- Property/ Telecommunication/ Retail/ Insurance background is a plus
- Strong in senior stakeholder management, giving presentations to C-level
- Patient, approacheable and calm person who lead by example and strong in corporate change management & transformation
- Good command in Chinese and English
