From welcoming new colleagues, to best in class leadership development, you can be sure that potential is identified and nurtured throughout your career.We are looking for a Manager, Tax to be based in our Hong Kong Headquarter Office, and is expected to work with team to enhance tax compliance, improve tax efficiency, and streamline tax operational procedures for Shangri-La Group.As our Manager, Tax, we rely you on to:

Support tax compliance review for the group where required
Explore tax savings opportunities and develop feasible solutions for tax optimization
Identify tax risks, provide solutions to mitigate risks and conduct follow-up of corrective action plans on previously identified tax issues
Be a key point of contact for BEPS 2.0 initiative and related advisory matters
Work with hotels and regional offices to defend tax audits, queries and inspections
Maintain an awareness of new tax rules, best market practices and provide timely updates to management and team
Deliver tax trainings and improve knowledge level for stakeholders
Other duties as assigned

We are looking for someone who is/ has:

Bachelor's Degree, preferably in Taxation / Accounting / Finance or related disciplines
Candidate with professional certification such as CPA, ACCA or equivalent standard is preferred.
At least 5 years of working experience in tax or accounting field. Background from hospitality industry or accounting firms strongly preferred.
Corporate tax experience, ideally with indirect tax exposure
Tax advisory experience required
Demonstrated ability to work with multiple tax jurisdiction and awareness with global tax developments especially in China and Asia Pacific Region
Experience in dealing with transfer pricing matters
Good verbal and written communication in Chinese and English
Analytical thinker with strong conceptual and problem-solving skills
Attention to details with the ability to multi-task
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Fast learner with a willing attitude, resilience, and a team player with strong work ethic
