This role is ideal for a proactive, hands-on leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment. The position is split evenly between technical leadership (50%) and hands-on backend development (50%) , with a strong focus on system design , large-scale architecture , and performance optimization .Key Responsibilities

Lead and mentor a team of backend engineers, fostering a high-performance and collaborative culture.
Design and implement scalable, high-availability backend systems using Java and Spring Boot.
Drive system architecture, integration strategies, and performance tuning for large-scale platforms.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align technical solutions with business goals.
Ensure engineering best practices across code quality, CI/CD, testing, and documentation.
Actively contribute to coding, troubleshooting, and technical decision-making.

Qualifications

7+ years of backend development experience
Proven experience designing and delivering large-scale, distributed systems.
Strong hands-on skills in Java, Spring Boot, RESTful APIs, and microservices.
Deep understanding of performance tuning, scalability, and system reliability.
Strong communication skills and a proactive, can-do attitude.
