- Supporting the Sourcing manager to drive partnership with our vendors to deliver best-in-class performance
- Researching and assessing new vendors to support the business and capacity growth and driving continuous improvement
- Owning vendor development and relationship building with stakeholders
- Owning the onboarding and training of new vendors and continuously building capabilities throughout the entire vendor base
- Manage SAP vendor set-up and signing of T1 Supply Agreements
- Providing support to the Sustainability team on compliance and ESG management
- Collaborate with vendor partners and cross functional teams to ensure accuracy of COL BOM's, RM pricing, yield and color
- Analyze past and current CBD's for all COL styles being managed, identify cost increase mitigation potentials, negotiate for the best outcome to support margin improvements.
- Proposing a more defined processes for seasonal COL price negotiations and BOM management
- Involvement in Footwear sourcing responsibilities
- Involvement in capacity planning negotiation with T1 vendors
- Work more in-depth with current and future vendor base to propose continuous improvements on vendor level for efficiency and cost improvements.
- Building a talent pipeline to support long term workload increase and business growth.
- You have a degree in Merchandising/Business Management or related discipline, or equivalent relevant experience
- You have 5+ years' experience in apparel sourcing or merchandising in a global company
- You have strong interpersonal skills and can work effectively with internal and external stakeholders of diverse cultural backgrounds
- You have expertise in negotiation, problem solving and multi-tasking
- You have good knowledge of raw materials, technical construction and product costing. Footwear experience is a plus.
- You are assertive and have a high level of self-initiative
- You are fluent in English and have strong verbal and written communication skills
- You are proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, Power Point) and Outlook, and knowledge of ERP & PLM systems is an advantage (e.g., SAP, Centric etc.)
