Welcome to visit: https://www.mobility.siemens.com/hk/en.htmlThe successful candidate will take the responsibility to support the Head of Environmental, Health, Safety & Quality Management to monitor the software development process in entire business operations and to ensure that our engineering activities on construction sites as well as engineered products and solutions will adhere to the software quality assurance standards set forth by Siemens and the customers.The primary responsibilities include:
- Assist management in further developing and improving software quality assurance process to ensure compliance with company Quality Management System, latest customer requirements, Railway Software Quality standards and relevant ISO standards & guidelines
- Develop and implement project Software Quality Assurance Plans, software quality assurance procedures and prepare the Software Quality Assurance Report
- Ensure the software assurance process comply with the project requirements
- Support configuration management control
- Perform internal software audits and configuration audits
- Support of the independent software audit and customer software quality audit to the applicable standard(s)
- To ensure timely closure of corrections and corrective actions on software quality assurance related issues
- To conduct regular software quality assurance related trainings
- To liaise with customer's software quality assurance team related to software quality
- To drive the implementation of best practices and ensure the adoption of software quality assurance initiatives for continual improvement
- To carry out other duties as required
- Degree or above in Computer Science/ Science / Engineering discipline or Software Quality related discipline
- At least 5 years of relevant experience in managing Software Quality matters in the industry
- Thorough overall understanding of software development process throughout the project life cycle
- Strong ability to critically evaluate technical documentations relating to software assurance in detail and report findings
- Qualified auditor / internal auditor in ISO 9001 with relevant audit experience is an advantage
- Familiar with software configuration management techniques and tools is an advantage
- Experience in application of quality requirements associated with safety management as per ISO 9001, ISO/IEC/IEEE 90003, ISO 10007, ISO/IEC/IEEE 12207 and EN50128 is an advantage
- Knowledge of Railway systems like Communications/ Electrification / Signalling is an advantage
- Proficiency in both spoken and written English (Proficiency in Cantonese is an advantage)
- Good communication, interpersonal and presentation skills
- Good problem solving, time management and team building skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Chinese Word Processing
- Candidates with more experience will be considered as Senior Software Quality Engineer
- Immediately available is highly preferred
- Working location: Kwun Tong and various project sites
