Our client is a premier international law firm seeking a versatile Hong Kong-qualified financial services / global markets associate with 2-4 years PQE to join their international financial services team.ABOUT THE ROLEIn this role, you will be working closely with highly renowned international financial services transactional partners where you will gain hands-on experience in a wide spectrum of global markets advisory work from structured finance, derivatives, securitisation, to DCM deals, including convertible and exchangeable bonds, MTN programs and SEC shelf establishments and takedowns spanning the APAC region. Amongst the blue chip clients you will be serving, many will include lenders, borrowers, investors, hedge funds, brokers, and corporate trustees, amongst other clients.ABOUT YOUThe ideal candidate will be Hong Kong admitted, although candidates qualified in other jurisdictions could also be considered. You will also have strong transactional experience from a reputable commercial law firm, with a background in either financial services or debt capital markets. Additional experience handling corporate trustee work would be a bonus. Excellent drafting and negotiation skills, commercial acumen, and the ability to manage complex deal processes are essential.
