Job Summary
Leads a high performing team responsible for profitable growth of both P&C and A&H business in accordance with organizational strategies. Accountable for achieving business objectives through creation, cultivation, and integration of strong omni-channel strategies; ensuring high quality agent and customer experience delivery, effective portfolio management, emphasis on integrity and compliance with relevant policies and regulations. Drives productivity, digitization and effective collaboration across Hong Kong team, Asia Multi-Country Market AMCM Distribution team and AMCM Leadership team.Job Responsibility
  • Responsible for defining and developing the strategies for growth and profitability that are consistent with the company’s overall strategy.
  • Continually monitor the effectiveness of the business strategy by identifying opportunities for development and improvement and implementing changes.
  • Lead and oversee the development and growth of new business channels and maintain effective stakeholder relationships with agents, brokers, dealerships, banks, service providers, aggregators and other carrier partners.
  • Market and competitor analysis to identify trends, potential opportunities or risk.
  • Implement and drive sales initiatives and capabilities to win in the market. Translate distribution strategy and priorities of the company into concrete action plans to be executed, tracked in partnership with aligned market distribution teams.
  • Build and lead an effective and cohesive Distribution team for sourcing, managing and implementing new business opportunities.
  • Understand the sales objectives, identify performance gaps, develop and deploy training inputs to build strong sales functional competencies at all levels.
  • Identify and analyze areas of revenue generation opportunities for products and/or services in support of business goals and to monitor the sales agents overall effectiveness throughout the sales process.
  • Work closely with Asia Multi-Country Market (AMCM) Distribution team on developing and implementing KPIs for market performance, adhering to Liberty operating protocols, as well as coordination of best practices within and across Liberty markets/regions.
  • Close interaction and cooperation with the Product, Claims, Finance and HR Departments to facilitate prompt and efficient servicing support to our producers.
  • Develop and nurture talent within the business, ensuring that we are developing the right skills and capabilities to meet our current and future business needs.
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s Degree in general business admin management
  • 15+ years of relevant working experience in General Insurance Industry either in P&C or A&H sector.
  • Demonstrated good network of relationship in General Insurance industry
  • Proven track record of developing profitable portfolio
  • High level of strategic thinking and an ability to plan and manage at both strategic and operational levels
  • Strong analytical and financial skills
  • Demonstrated experience leveraging digital to transform and advance organizational sales capabilities
  • Highly developed communication and presentation skills, interpersonal skills and the ability to work with and influence technical and non-technical business groups across the organization
  • A keen ability to prioritize to drive outstanding results, nativgate ambiguity and adapting to change
  • Strong leadership capabilities with a proven track record of leading high-performance teams.

  • Excellent command of written and spoken English and Chinese
