analyst/senior analyst, risk department (asset management)

• Our client is a prominent top-tier asset management firm with a robust business portfolio that includes ETFs, unit trusts, investment strategies, financial planning, and advisory services. They have established a strong market presence and are recognized for their excellence in delivering comprehensive financial solutions

• You will be joining the Risk Management Department, which consists of a team of 5 professionals. In this role, you will have a direct reporting line to the Head of Risk, who will provide guidance and support in your risk management responsibilities

• Perform regular investment risk reporting for capital market portfolios
• Conduct daily performance reporting
• Monitor and assess daily investment risks, including market, credit, and liquidity risks, associated with the portfolios
• Actively participate in risk management initiatives and database projects
• Conduct comprehensive and timely investment and risk analysis across various asset classes, markets, and events
• Collaborate with stakeholders to fulfill ad-hoc data management tasks and ensure data accuracy and integrity

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Mathematics, Statistics, or Risk Management
• Previous experience in Investment Banking, Asset Management, or Financial Risk Consulting is highly valued
• Proficiency in tools such as Python, and SQL is required
• Familiarity with Bloomberg AIM, MARS, Excel/VBA is advantageous
• Strong understanding of risk management principles related to asset investments
• Fluency in spoken and written Chinese is a requirement
