  • Specialize in covering Japan Real Estate Deals, including evaluating investment opportunities, conducting financial analysis, and providing recommendations for decision-making.
  • Develop and maintain financial models specific to the real estate market, incorporating relevant data and assumptions to assess project feasibility and profitability.
  • Monitor and analyze market trends, economic indicators, and regulatory changes that may impact the real estate sector, providing insights and recommendations to stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, external partners, and clients to execute real estate transactions, ensuring compliance with legal, regulatory, and internal guidelines.
  • Conduct due diligence activities, including financial and operational assessments, risk analysis, and valuation exercises, to support investment decisions.
  • Prepare and present comprehensive financial reports and investment proposals to senior management and stakeholders, highlighting key findings, risks, and opportunities.
  • Monitor project performance, track financial metrics, and provide regular updates on the financial health and progress of real estate investments.
  • Stay abreast of industry best practices, emerging technologies, and market innovations, and proactively recommend process improvements to optimize financial control and operational efficiency.
The Successful Applicant
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in the banking industry, preferably with exposure to real estate finance, investment, or analysis.
  • Fluency in Japanese language is essential to effectively communicate with local stakeholders and navigate the Japanese real estate market.
  • Strong knowledge and understanding of the real estate market, including market dynamics, investment strategies, valuation techniques, and regulatory frameworks.
  • Proficient in financial modeling, with the ability to develop and maintain complex financial models for real estate investment analysis and forecasting.
  • Familiarity with financial analysis tools, software, and databases commonly used in the real estate industry.
  • Analytical mindset, with the ability to interpret and evaluate financial data, identify trends, and make informed recommendations based on sound financial analysis.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex financial concepts and insights to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills, capable of managing multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously while ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
