The Jockey Club School of Public Health and Primary Care is seeking a full-time Research Assistant.Applicants should be/have (i) a Bachelor’s or a Master’s degree in Public Health, Community Health Practice, or biostatistics or other related disciplines; and (ii) fluency in statistical analysis software such as RStudio, SPSS, STATA, SAS. Experience in conducting health promotion programme or needs assessment will be an advantage. Relevant experience in serving socially-disadvantaged communities including homeless and people living in sub-divided flats will also be a bonus.The appointee will be responsible for (a) conducting health needs assessments for the deprived community; (b) designing, collecting, cleaning, and analysing quantitative and qualitative data by using big dataset; (c) assisting in research project as assigned; and (d) performing other duties as assigned.Appointment will initially be made on contract basis for one year, renewable subject to mutual agreement.
