Responsibilities for the successful candidate will include:Delivering quantity surveying services including preparing cost plans and tender documents, handling contract administration, sub-letting, and preparing and negotiating final accountsUndertaking responsibility for formulating tender strategies, tender analysis and biddingMonitoring cashflow and certifying payment and variationPreparing material take-off documents, pricing, drawing measurements and checking of all tender materialComplying with QA standards as well as the company's best practiceLeading and coaching junior staffCollaborating and developing good relationships with clients and stakeholdersAttending site inspections and client meetings and conducting tender interview presentations when requiredRequirements:BSc in quantity surveying or equivalentMember of the Hong Kong Institute of Surveyors or member of the Royal Institution of Chartered SurveyorsA minimum of seven years’ quantity surveying experience gained within a global construction consultancy, with exposure to multiple projectsGood communication and interpersonal skills, ability to understand and provide concise instructions to the client teamProficient in both spoken and written English and ChineseProactive self-starter with excellent attention to detailAll applications applied through our system will be delivered directly to the advertiser and privacy of personal data of the applicant will be ensured with security.
