- Manage daily accounting operations, including the entry of bank and accounting transactions, processing bills and payments, and conducting bank reconciliations.
- Handle expenses payments and client fund withdrawals.
- Independently manage the full set of accounts and address general accounting issues.
- Calculate daily liquid capital, assess cash flow positions, and monitor margin loan positions for all licensed corporations under SFC supervision.
- Prepare accounting schedules, financial and management reports, and FRR (Financial Resources Rules) submissions.
- Assist in the preparation of interim and annual reports, costing, budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
- Fulfill other responsibilities assigned by the Management.
- Hold a university degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline. Qualified accountant or completion of professional examination under professional accounting bodies is preferred.
- Possess strong written and spoken skills in English and Chinese (including Mandarin).
- Experience working with Oracle is preferred.
- Willingness to work overtime and under pressure to meet tight deadlines.
- Immediate availability is a plus.
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in a securities firm (Type 1 & 2).
- Solid experience in securities accounting, SFC Financial Resources Rules, and Financial Returns is essential.
