Create jewellery collections that meet the needs of the brand development for CTFHJ considering market trends and targeted customers with uniqueness and creativeness and follow production process of jewellery to ensure high quality and completeness within lead time.Key Responsibilities:
-Develop design proposals of new jewellery collection and be-spoke/special orders for CTFHJ with uniqueness and creativeness, collaborating with project manager and different business units.
-Conduct market research to develop concepts and create jewellery designs, with reference to sales data analysis, collection planning and targeted customers provided by product planning and studio management team.
-Create presentation to visualize creative idea.
-Able to ideate modern innovative designs. Render technical drawings and hand sketching.
-Review details to ensure the design is manufacturable and unique in the market.
-Be responsible for cost calculation of jewellery collection and application of materials.
-Actively involved in prototyping, technical and production process to facilitate new product development from designs and offer technical solutions.
-Communicate with production team & workshop to track production progress within lead time.
-Handle ad-hoc project as assigned by line manager.Requirements:
-Bachelor Degree in Product Design or related discipline
-At least 5 years' experience in fine jewellery/high jewellery design.
-Good at hand sketching, mastery of Photoshop, Illustrator and PowerPoint.
-Ability to create accurate side views and technical drawings is a must.
-Knowledge in 3D software, especially Jewel Cad/Rhino 3D is a plus.
-Deep knowledge in high jewellery craft and jewellery production is a must.
-Passionate in art and design with global vision, aesthetic, and creative sense.
-Ability to translate up to market trends to high jewellery products.
-Independent, detail oriented, self-motivated, and responsible.
-Strong communication and presentation skill with good problem-solving skills and open-minded.
-Travel is required (including factories and sales events).
