- Utilise and further develop core analytics competencies across the full spectrum of analytics - from data integration, data modelling, dashboard creation and data science
- Develop demo content and proof of concepts (PoCs) to be used as part of engagements with clients based on brief given by the Delivery Lead
- Work closely with clients to understand and capture business requirements
- Understand and work comfortably with various data models including Kimball and Data Vault
- Deliver compelling data visualisation solutions to end users
- Raise any problems or challenges to the Development Lead in a timely manner
- Provide documentation on new technologies to be used for training other members of staff
- Contribute to the team effort and accomplish other tasks that may fall outside the usual domain.
- 2+ years of experience with data integration and visualisation tools
- 2+ years of experience with Matillion, Snowflake, (experience of other cloud platforms like Redshift and Google BigQuery are also advantageous). Experience of AWS also advantageous.
- Other ETL tools including Informatica, Fivetran, dbt are useful and experience is transferrable)
- 2+ or more years of experience in data warehousing and database concepts
- Experience of Kimball dimensional modelling and designing and implementing Kimball dimensional star schema data models
- Excellent communication skills
- Motivated, ambitious and determined
- Ability to work in a high-pressure environment
