- Collect and consolidate proper IT&C sequences for defined project stages and milestones.
- Analyze and track design and material status to generate IT&C programmes.
- Set targets for daily site activities based on each phase of a project plan and ensure it meets internal and client requirements.
- Make estimations for timescales and present using planning tools as required (P6, MS Project, Excel).
- Monitor day-to-day site works progress for a project and provide accurate weekly and monthly reports
- Continually compare between planned progress and actual progress and report any differences to their lead project manager.
- Highlight constraints encountered by site IT&C teams, potential progress delays or project slippages
- Swiftly communicate the problems and propose solution from planning perspective when required.
- Collect and consolidate weekly site activities plan from IT&C Managers
- Consolidate and present 4-Week-Rolling-Programme (4WRP) to client during weekly meeting with IT&C Leads and Managers.
- Present approved 4WRP to subcontractors for resource requests
- Identification of critical path and assist the generation of delay recovery measures when required.
- Preparation of Monthly report with Project Planning Manager
- Review of Alstom Monthly Report (MPR) and Weekly Progress Report (WPR) together with Project team
- Analyze and identify opportunities to save cost/time if necessary.
- Make sure complex projects are handled on time by overseeing the project planning, inventory services, planning control, team leadership, and project management.
- Driving continuous improvement by working with leadership teams.
- Ensure optimization of programme, be proactive for resequencing proposal and productivity improvement
- Identify gaps in key performance areas and plan activities to increase overall project efficiency.
- 2-5 years of Planning experience in E&M Engineering or Construction industry
- Basic knowledge of railway project, signalling / training control systems experience is a plus.
- Ability to use planning software packages competently (MS Office / Excel / Project, Primavera P6, etc)
- Team spirit, strong communication skills and ability to work indepedently in a dynamic environment
- High-calibre including Analytical, Initiative, Persistent, Determined, Attention to detail
