Assistant Building Services Engineer

• Supervise and manage daily maintenance, repairs, and inspections for electrical, mechanical, plumbing, HVAC, and building systems.
• Lead a team of technicians and contractors, ensuring safe and efficient work with minimal disruption to residents.
• Plan and schedule preventive maintenance to enhance the reliability of building services.
• Monitor luxury property features, including common areas and amenities.
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergencies to ensure resident satisfaction.
• Communicate effectively with property management, residents, and service providers.
• Ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards.
• Prepare maintenance reports and maintain accurate service records.

• Education/Experience:

• Diploma/Certificate in Building Services, Electrical/Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
• 6-8 years of relevant experience in building services or property maintenance, including 2-3 years in a supervisory role.
• Hands-on skills in at least two trades (electrical, HVAC, plumbing, carpentry).
• Relevant trade or safety certifications preferred (e.g., Registered Electrical Worker).
• Competencies:

• Strong leadership and management skills for in-house teams and contractors.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a customer service focus suitable for luxury residences.
• Proactive, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple urgent tasks.
