This role is critical in ensuring that we effectively manage its assets and liabilities to maintain financial stability and profitability. The successful candidate will have strong analytical skills, experience in financial analysis, and a strong understanding on Asset Liability Management (ALM).Responsibilities:Prepare and analyze regular and ad-hoc reports on ALM activities, performance metrics, and compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies to senior management and stakeholdersAssist in analyzing, developing and implementing ALM and hedging strategies to manage financial risks and strategies in alignment with the company’s goalsSupport Strategic Asset Allocation (SAA) reviews and Tactical Asset Allocation (TAA) assessmentConduct comprehensive risk assessments and analyses to identify potential impacts on the company’s financial performance.Work closely with cross-functional teams, including Finance, Actuarial, Investment and Risk Management, to ensure cohesive strategies and alignment of objectivesProvide guidance to team members, fostering a collaborative and high-performing team environmentStay updated on market trends, economic conditions, and regulatory changes affecting ALM practicesSupport ad-hoc projects or tasks as assignedRequirements:Bachelor’s degree in Actuarial Science, or a related fieldNear qualified or qualified actuary of Society of Actuaries, Institute and Faculty of Actuaries or Institute of Actuaries of Australia6-10 years of solid actuarial experience in Asset Liability Management or financial reporting such as HKRBC within a life insurance organizationStrong analytical and quantitative skillsExcellent communication and presentation skillsProficiency in relevant software and tools (e.g., Excel, Actuarial modelling).Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detailAttractive salary and fringe benefits, including 5-day work week, medical, life insurance, annual leave, pension scheme and training subsidies, etc. will be offered to this permanent appointment.
