Job Description:Are you passionate about protecting and safeguarding our clients data initiatives across the Asset Management business? Then, this is your opportunity to join the Chief Data Office (CDO) team, assuming a key role in the successful delivery and execution of the data strategy in the region. The Asset Management Chief Data Office (CDO), is part of the broader Asset & Wealth Management Chief Operating Office and responsible for the data strategy to enable business priorities and governance functions to drive mitigation of data risks.As an Associate within Asset Management Chief Data Office team, you will be responsible to ensure that high-quality data is available to run our business and meet our clients' needs, to protect and safeguard our clients data while protecting information from any form of misuse and be able to demonstrate compliance with global data related policies, regulations and laws. You will establish and produce consistent business processes for managing data related requests impacting overall business processes, monitoring data risk and related documentation. In addition, you will ensure a high and consistent standard of quality deliverables to our internal and external clients. You will moving the business forward by facilitating varies initiatives related to data digitalization and business process reengineering.You will offer an opportunity to aid the region in the management, governance, and delivery of data across a wide variety of both internal and external stakeholders. You will be focuses on use of and understand of data as it is applied in commercial activities across both sales and support functions.Job responsibilities:
  • Consolidate the book of work from various internal partners including: Business Transformation, Marketing Data teams, Investment Specialists, Operations, & Client Services into centralized metrics and project trackers
  • Participate in wide variety of projects including; digital platform implementation, product implementation and governance programs
  • Ensure efficiencies wherever possible
  • Structure proper documentation on an ongoing basis
  • Continue the momentum in Asia executing against priorities; both local and global
  • Partner with key regional stakeholders, including the Chief Administration Office, Operations, Investment Desks, Technology, Performance Analysis Group, Marketing, Reporting teams, and Client Service
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills:
  • University degree
  • At least 3 years' working experience
  • Sensitivity to different cultures and working styles; ability to navigate seamlessly both across countries within Asia Pacific, and with the wider global organization
  • Confidence to work directly with stakeholders at all levels
  • Outstanding accuracy and attention to detail; strong numeracy
  • Ability to work under pressure, and with flexibility, to meet tight deadlines
  • Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel skills (intermediate/advanced)
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills:
  • Prior experience with Alteryx, Visual Basic for Applications (VBA), Structured Query Language (SQL), JIRA, Tableau, Python a plus
  • Knowledge of Product Ownership and Data Ownership models a plus
  • Prior experience as a Tech or Business Analyst a plus
  • Project management certification a plus
  • Experience managing large data sets a plus
  • Excellent communication skills- written and verbal in English, Mandarin, and Cantonese a plus
