• Define and maintain the roadmap, architectural principles, best practices, tech stack, and guidelines for enterprise applications and software development, ensuring alignment with IT policies and governance across various business domains.
• Collaborate closely with business stakeholders to translate their strategic requirements into robust technical specifications and architectural blueprints for application solutions.
• Identify and recommend cutting-edge application technologies and solutions, planning and coordinating architecture activities that directly support evolving business needs.
• Review the architectural designs from the teams and provide strategic guidance and mentorship to other solution architects and development teams on application architecture, design patterns, and software strategy.
• Research and share the latest technology trends in application development and emerging platforms to support innovative business initiatives.
• Oversee the architectural governance of application portfolios, ensuring adherence to established standards, security best practices, and scalability requirements.
• Drive the modernization and rationalization of existing application landscapes, identifying opportunities for consolidation, re-platforming, and digital transformation.

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science or a related discipline.
• 12+ years of experience in the IT field, with at least 5+ years working as an Enterprise Architect, Solution Architect, Application Architect, or similar role, and participating in leading application architecture design and strategy.
• Proficiency in designing and implementing scalable and resilient enterprise application architectures, with a proven track record of developing architecture/roadmaps for large-scale software projects to support group business objectives.
• In-depth knowledge of modern web and mobile application development methodologies, architectural patterns (e.g., microservices), and integration patterns (e.g., APIs).
• Knowledge of various programming languages, frameworks, and database technologies.
• Knowledge of major cloud platforms (such as Azure, AWS) specifically in designing and deploying cloud-native applications and serverless architectures.
• Knowledge of emerging technologies such as GenAI is a plus.
• Good understanding of industry best practices and standards for application development and architecture.
• Proficiency with application security best practices, data architecture principles, and software quality assurance.
• Strong interpersonal, presentation, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficient in English and Chinese (either Cantonese or Mandarin); and currently based in Hong Kong with a valid work permit.
