Or simply enjoy a vibrant, future-ready career.Your Opportunity Starts Here.Job Summary:Assist HoD and Audit Lead in the delivery of their roles and responsibilities, and to manage the assigned audits to ensure that individual audits are delivered on time, on budget, to the required standards and to provide value to the Bank.What you will be doing:Participate in the development and maintenance of:
Audit methodology and procedures to provide independent assurance of credit risk exposures and credit risk management processes over the following credit related business/support units:
(1) Wholesale Banking Group – Corporate Banking & Commercial Banking, Transaction Banking and Financial Institutions;
(2) Emerging Business;
(3) Risk Management – Credit Risk Management, Special Asset Management, Consumer Credit Recovery, and Risk Policy;
(4) Operations – Loans Operation and Trade Services; and Knowledge of leading practices and activities relevant to assigned audit portfolios.Lead/ Participate in the assessment of credit risk exposures quality of wholesale lending portfolios from four considerations – actual versus expected portfolio performance, data integrity, troubled exposure and volatility of future performance.Lead/Participate in the independent assessment of credit risk management and operations process of wholesale banking business that are conducted in partnership with Group Audit, and evaluate the governance framework, risk management, regulatory compliance processes and internal controls systems.Lead/Participate in the handling of special assignments (e.g. investigations, advisory and other ad-hoc/special projects).Work in conjunction with business/support units and assist HoD to:
(1) Keep abreast of emerging risks/concerns;
(2) Maintain a good working relationship to enforce the role of IAD as an independent partner to build trust and transparency;
(3) Monitor changes in risk management and/or all major new developments; and
(4) Monitor the implementation and progress of audit recommendations.Work with HoD and other internal auditors to achieve the most efficient and effective working practices for IAD.Work as a leader over a team of internal auditors for assigned audit engagements and execute audit engagements with at least the following skills:
(1) Project management and data analytics skills;
(2) Subject matter expert on audit framework and methodology;
(3) Subject matter expert on the quality of credit risk exposures and credit risk management process; and
(4) Ability to identify critical issues and improvement opportunities.Establish and implement career management as well as development plans.Make use of data analytics skill to improve the audit effectiveness and efficiency for audit engagements.What we are looking for:Bachelor’s degreeCIA, CPA or equivalent qualification is requiredECF in AML/CFT at Core Level is preferredMinimum 7 years of relevant credit and business experience in corporate or commercial banking. Prior auditing experience is desirable, but not mandatory.Sound knowledge of credit risk management activitiesSound knowledge of control requirements of banking industry and external applicable rules and regulationsStrong knowledge of MS Excel, strong data analytical skill, sound knowledge of Python, Power BI or other data analytics tool is preferredGood communication skills, good command of English (Oral & Written) and good in report writingGood people management skill, dynamic and good interpersonal skillAbility to interact with people at different levelHigh level of integrity and drive, and ability to work under pressureAbility to lead/execute audit assignment independentlyAbility to multi-task and possesses strong time management skillGood problem-solving skill, detail/technical oriented with ability to decipher ‘big picture issuesWilling to travel for audit assignments#LI-GT1What we offer:Competitive base salary.
