As a Senior Quality Assurance Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in executing the company's chemical and raw material management strategy. You will provide expert advice on all aspects of chemical and raw materials management, ensuring compliance with regulations, standards, best practices, protocols, and procedures. Your ability to take decisive action based on priorities and goals will be crucial in driving the success of our chemical and raw materials strategy. You will also have the opportunity to develop personnel working on chemical and raw materials projects.
- Execute the chemical and raw material management strategy within the supplier chain
- Provide expert advice on all aspects of chemical and raw materials management, regulations, standards, best practices, protocols, and procedures
- Take appropriate actions according to the decided priorities and goals for the chemical and raw materials strategy
- Monitor the agreed KPIs that reflect the progress of the control and management of chemicals and raw materials
- Develop personnel allocated to work on chemical and raw materials
- Establish strong working relationships with clients, core vendors and factories
- Conduct effective training to vendors, factories and raw material suppliers on client expectations and requirements for chemical management
The ideal candidate for this Senior Quality Assurance Engineer role will bring a wealth of experience in chemical and raw materials analysis, management, and control within consumer products. Your proven track record in programme management coupled with your ability to influence people will be key to your success in this role. Your experience in QA/QC functions within a high-volume business will be highly valued. Your ability to use metrics to analyse trends and potential impacts will be crucial in driving the success of our chemical and raw materials strategy.
- Minimum 5 years experience in the chemical and raw materials analysis, management and control for use in consumer products
- Proven experience in programme management and influencing people
- Experience in QA/QC functions and controls in a high volume business
- Ability to use metrics to analyse trends, potential impact etc.
- Excellent planning and process re-engineering ability
- Analytical and logical thinker with good spoken and written English
