Applicants should have (i) a Bachelor’s degree or a Master's degree in Biomedical, Biological Science or related disciplines; (ii) experience in tissue culture and molecular biology techniques; and (iii) hands-on experience in DNA sample handling and processing. Prior experience in handling mouse model and organoid culture will be an advantage.The appointee will work in the research laboratory at the Prince of Wales Hospital in Shatin, and will be responsible for (a) preparing clinical samples for sequencing; (b) performing in molecular and cellular assays (confocal microscopy, western blotting, qPCR, etc.); (c) assisting in housekeeping, such as inventory management, reagent preparation; (d) supporting patient sample collection process; and (e) performing any other ad-hoc tasks as assigned by supervisors.The appointee will be expected to conduct cancer research under supervision at the Prince of Wales Hospital in Shatin.Appointment will initially be made on contract basis for one year, renewable subject to mutual agreement.Applicants should submit the following documents in the online application: (1) full curriculum vitae with publication; (2) academic certificates; and (3) reference letters.The University only accepts and considers applications submitted online for the post above via the CUHK career site.
