Please visit our website www.hkdesigncentre.org for information of HKDC.The Roles:Manage library memberships, maintain an organized and up-to-date catalog system for books, magazines, and other design-related materials, ensure the library space is well-stocked, and conducive to a productive and inspiring environment;Collaborate with the team to develop and implement library policies and procedures;Oversee the material library, including procurement, organization, and maintenance of design materials;Coordinate with vendors and suppliers to ensure a diverse and relevant collection of materials;Collaborate and prepare all relevant documents and provide general administrative support for events and exhibitions;Assist in execution of organised talks, seminar, book sharing, exhibition and other creative activities;Assist in budget management for the library, including tracking expenses and identifying cost-saving opportunities;Prepare regular reports on membership statistics and event attendance;Maintain accurate records of library transactions, including loans and returns.Requirements:A recognised university graduate;Min. 2 years of relevant work experience design related events;Good verbal and written communication skills in both English and Chinese are essential;Strong knowledge and passion for design, fashion, architecture, and related fields;Excellent organizational and time management skills;Proficient in using library management systems and software;Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills;Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment;Attention to detail and a commitment to providing exceptional customer service;Flexibility to work occasional evenings or weekends for events;Proficiency in Microsoft Office and knowledge of Photoshop / AI / Canvas is an advantage.Interested parties are invited to apply by sending your resume with full details of education, work experience, current & expected salary, contact telephone number and earliest available date to the Human Resources Office, Hong Kong Design Centre, 4/F, DX design hub, 280 Tung Chau Street, Sham Shui Po, Kowloon or email to: [email redacted, apply via Company website] on or before 4 September 2025.
