We are looking for a Data & Digital Business Analyst who has not only with the data, technology and project management skills, but also the change mindset, passion and perseverance to bring the HKEX client taxonomy and client services to life across our vast digital ecosystem which is aligned with our client centric vision. Be considered for this role you must have a proven track record of Data & Digital Analysis and system change exposure within a financial services environment. Knowledge of trading and finance is an added advantage.
CS centralises HKEX’s customer understanding and insights across business owners, product owners and exchange participants, striving for innovation via our legacy and potential channels. Through enhanced data provision & insights, and online / offline customer strategies devised, improve the client feedback channels and client reference data to enhance our client experience, drive the client centricity and operational efficiency. You will collaborate across business owners, SMEs, product teams and a diverse set of disciplines to deliver compelling, customer-focused designs and provide our clients and end-users a professional and seamless experience. This role will report to the Client Services Department under Operations Division.Job Duties:Responsibilities:Work closely with internal and external stakeholders to ensure the smooth delivery of project initiatives which affect client services operations related in cash and derivatives trading, on areas including but not limited to business and client impact assessment, system changes requirements, workflow streamline, low or no code solution designs of these relevant changes.Build solutions with low-code platform and Power Platform for process enhancement and automation.Proactively engage internal stakeholders including gathering requirements from a broad array of external and relevant business users and IT professionals and documenting the required specifications and end-to-end user journeys for the new operational model.Review the specifications delivered by external technology partners to ensure compliance with the requirements of the business.Coordinate and participate in project updates, brainstorming and design sessions as needed.Keep abreast of latest industry trends and best practices in design and user experience domains to identify new opportunities and innovative ideas for improving our products and processes.Apply and promote design thinking, change management and agile/scrum practices in day-to-day management of projects.Evaluate and present solutions to business colleagues and senior management.Take ownership of project plans and budgets.Requirements:Qualifications
  • University degree or above.
  • 3+ years working experience in finance and equity trading business, client support experiences in trading platform with client centric mindset and adaptability.
  • Preferably to be technically savvy and have strong experience in client reference data handling, automated testing tool and good understanding of trading platform and market practices environment.
  • Good understanding on Hong Kong and Mainland stock markets (e.g. Trading, settlement, Stock Connect). Knowledge of the cash and derivatives market, and its corresponding client operations and regulations would be an advantage.
  • High agility with growth mindset; a self-starter, team player and good communicator with sound judgment and good problem-solving skills.
  • Analytical thinker as well as solution provider with a can-do attitude.
  • Experience in business transformation execution. Experience in agile methodologies and design thinking is a plus.
Skills
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. You should be able to absorb, analyse, break down and communicate complex workflows and interactions.
  • Technically proficient with following areas: SharePoint, Power Platform (Apps, Automate or BI), Tableau, low code platform, VBA.
  • Working knowledge of Data Science and Analytics.
  • Concrete background in driving digital transformation of process automation in financial client portal.
  • Proven ability to map and communicate ‘as-is’ and ’to-be’ business and technical processes, e.g. using swim lane, data flow and sequence diagrams.
  • Great self-organisation, task prioritization and attention to detail.
  • Fluent written and spoken communication and presentation skills in English and Cantonese, with Mandarin considered a strong advantage.
