We pledge to make Prudential a place where you can Connect, Grow, and Succeed.This role is to support Director, Investments, in managing investment activities across Investment-Linked Products (ILP) and non-ILP public market investments, including development, planning, and execution of investment strategies. It involves evaluating fund and manager performance, conducting portfolio risk analysis, supporting regular reporting, ongoing asset manager due diligence and annual fee review, and ensuring all investment activities adhere to regulatory requirements, investment guidelines, and industry standards.Job Descriptions:
  • Lead regular fund reviews and evaluate the performance of investment funds and managers, support portfolio reporting and analysis to enable informed investment decisions and oversight, and prepare performance commentary for key stakeholders.
  • Support the selection of new fund managers and participate in the due diligence process, manage the investment committee approval workflow, and lead onboarding for new managers, including developing the investment transition plan.
  • Conduct the annual management fee review and support other teams by providing relevant investment data. Perform portfolio risk analysis and ongoing monitoring, develop tools to automate existing oversight processes, and maintain the investment procedure manual.
  • Prepare and review regular reports for Investment Committee (IC), risk forum meeting, regulatory reporting, and support investment compliance by ensuring adherence to applicable regulations, investment guidelines, and industry standards.
  • Lead investment related projects assigned by the line manager and handle ad-hoc tasks related to investment management.
Job Requirements:
  • University degree in Finance or related discipline.
  • Relevant years investment experience in Financial Services (Insurance or Asset Management preferred).
  • Self-driven, open minded, and fast learner
  • Team player with strong stakeholder and people management skills
  • Good communication and project management skills, with ability to meet deadlines
  • Asset owner experience preferred
  • Investment compliance and risk management experience is a plus
