Join this well-established Hong Kong founded non-profit organisation in its mission to support patients through their physical, emotional, psychological and social challenges during their toughest health times. Bound by a common goal to help those suffering, you will be joining a group that is highly compassionate and collaborative.In this Department Head role, you will report to the Founder and oversee the team that drives Public Education, Fundraising, Corporate Communications, Donor Relations, and Digital Marketing. This organisation is located in Central, Hong Kong and practises fully onsite Mondays to Fridays. It has good work life balance where the team rarely works overtime.Key Requirements:
  • 10 or more years of experience in Public Relations, Communications, Marketing, Journalism and/or Fundraising.
  • Proficiency in written and spoken Cantonese/Traditional Chinese and English is required.
  • Possess a strong media network, particularly with Hong Kong-based titles.
  • Some prior experience in Fundraising, Business Development and/or Sales will be essential.
  • Strong social and interpersonal skills with a natural ability to engage with the team and stakeholders such as but not limited to partners, donors, media.
  • A natural leader who values teamwork and leads by example.
  • A confident presenter and clear communicator with an executive presence.
  • Possess a positive demeanour, is a creative thinker/leader, collaborative, compassionate and hands on.
  • Able to read the room, is perceptive and able to discern when to adopt 'soft touch'.
  • Existing relations to HNWIs will be highly valuable as part of fundraising efforts.
  • Commercially savvy and good with financials/budgeting.
