
BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT MANAGER (PAYMENT)

- Proactively identify and engage with new potential merchant partners to understand their goals and provide tailored solutions
- Deliver exceptional customer service and build long-lasting relationships with clients
- Manage full sales cycle from acquiring & managing partnerships and merchants, including prospecting, meetings, contracting, integration enrure a high conversion rate
- Stay up to date with the latest payment industry trends, regulations, and products to provide accurate and informed advice
- Recruit merchants through direct approach and/or channel partners and/or webinars/seminars
- Prepare sales forecasts and reports for senior management
- Work closely with different departments to deliver client projects
- University degree in Business or related discipline
- At least 5 years’ experience in business development focus on payment, FinTech, or acquiring merchant services
- Existing relationships / strong network with referral partners in large enterprise, education, events and other verticals are highly preferable
- Experience in strategy/ops or working in FinTech or Payment would be advantageous
- Sales-driven, independent, ambitious, able to work in a fas-paced environment
- Analytical mindset and problem-solving skills to understand client needs and provide suitable solutions
- Ability to act in a consultative role, providing valuable insights and guidance to clients
- Great written and communication skills in both Chinese & English
- Good numerical and strong analytical skills with experience with Excel, PowerPoint
