This new leadership role will lead the end-to-end implementation of a data governance framework at the enterprise. You will be responsible for creating key control measures and rolling out governance policies to ensuring best practices are followed in daily data operations and usage.
The ideal candidate should demonstrates excellent leadership capability, is at ease with presenting to English speak senior leadership and has proven track record of rolling out data governance frameworks at sizable organizations from 0 to 1.Responsibilities:

Create and manage a company-wide data governance framework to ensure data quality and regulatory compliance.
Support the General Manager in establishing a data governance committee to address data quality issues across departments.
Set and enforce standards for master data management, data lineage, and metadata across the organization.
Lead the integration of various data sources into a unified model, working with internal and external stakeholders.
Manage a team of data analysts to provide insights through dashboards and reports, fostering a data-driven culture.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Data Science, or related disciplines.
With a min. 10 years' experience in data governance and analytic, of which a min. 3 years' proven experience in a team leading role
Expertise in data governance, and familiar with the key domains - including Data Quality, Data Policies & Standards, Master Data Management, Data Security & Privacy, and Data Lineage & Metadata Management.
With good knowledge of cloud platforms and operations (e.g. AWS, Azure, GCP).
Strong leadership and communication skills to engage executives and cross-functional teams.
With excellent senior stakeholder mangaemnt skills and is at ease to present in front of a group of executive directors
Strong proficience in English, and good proficience in Chinese (Cantonese & Mandarin), with strong problem-solving and business acumen.
