Prof. Dan Michelle WANG’s laboratory, located at the School of Biomedical Sciences ( ) and The Institute for Tissue Engineering and Regenerative Medicine (iTERM; ), leads a dedicated research team focused on musculoskeletal tissue engineering, stem cell, extracellular matrix biology, and biomaterials. We are now seeking applications for the positions of Postdoctoral Fellow(s) and Research Assistant(s) to join our exciting research projects on tendons and bones. The research areas include (1) development of extracellular matrix-based biomaterials; (2) stem cell and exosome-based therapies; and (3) bioinformatics.For the position of Research Assistant(s), applicants should have (i) a Bachelor’s or higher degree in Biomedical Science and Biomedical Engineering, or a related discipline. (ii) self-motivation, good organization skills, cooperation, and a sense of responsibility; (iii) excellent communication skills in English and Chinese.For the position of Postdoctoral Fellow(s), applicants should have/be (i) a Doctoral degree in Biomedical Science, Biotechnology, Biomedical Engineering, Chemical Engineering or a related discipline; (ii) willing to learn new things, self-motivated, well-organized, cooperative and responsible; (iii) able to work independently; and (iv) good communication skills in English and Chinese.Duties include (a) performing research experiments; (b) managing the laboratory; and (c) training new staff members.Appointment will initially be made on contract basis for one year, renewable subject to mutual agreement.Applicants should submit the following supporting documents in the online application: (1) a comprehensive curriculum vitae (including academic qualifications, research experience, and publications); (2) copies of academic certificates; and (3) contact information of two to three referees.We look forward to receiving your applications and welcoming highly motivated individuals to join our research team.
