Their Asia HQ is in Hong Kong and this is where the role and rest of legal team will be based.Job DescriptionIn this key position, you will develop and implement data protection policies and procedures in line with local regulations across Asia including mainland China. You will work closely with key stakeholders to ensure regular assessments are conducted as well as ensuring the Group's awareness of the latest privacy requirements. In addition to data privacy work, this role will be able to provide you with some additional commercial responsibilities.The Successful ApplicantYou should be a qualified lawyer with 2-3 years of experience in the data protection field, prior experience in handling data protection work in mainland China will be essential.
