  • Analyze data and results to provide meaningful explanations of results and trends and provide recommendations that are relevant to the business
  • Prepare actuarial reports and results summaries in appropriate form for stakeholders
  • Coordinate with other actuarial and technical (e.g. investment, underwriting) teams on assumptions, methodology, results and information required
  • Manage experience studies and assist in deriving pricing assumptions for both direct pricing and reinsurance inward business
  • Assist in planning and managing workflow for the team in line with priorities
  • Review work of junior staff for consistency, reasonableness, comprehensiveness and suitability for purpose
  • Provides ad-hoc support for the local business in line with priorities
  • Propose and implement improvements to regular departmental processes, analyses, reports and documentation.
  • Maintain a clearly documented audit trail of data, assumptions, methods and financial results
  • Maintain up-to-date documentation of processes
  • Support the business units in handling reinsurance arrangements and queries, including both reinsurance inward and outward business
  • Liaise with other global AXA entities and external partners in product development and reinsurance inward projects
Qualifications
  • Passed SOA preliminary exams or equivalent
  • At least four years’ experience in the Life Insurance industry
  • Good command of business English, both in written and spoken form
  • Candidate with less experience will be considered as Senior Actuarial Analyst
