- Analyze data and results to provide meaningful explanations of results and trends and provide recommendations that are relevant to the business
- Prepare actuarial reports and results summaries in appropriate form for stakeholders
- Coordinate with other actuarial and technical (e.g. investment, underwriting) teams on assumptions, methodology, results and information required
- Manage experience studies and assist in deriving pricing assumptions for both direct pricing and reinsurance inward business
- Assist in planning and managing workflow for the team in line with priorities
- Review work of junior staff for consistency, reasonableness, comprehensiveness and suitability for purpose
- Provides ad-hoc support for the local business in line with priorities
- Propose and implement improvements to regular departmental processes, analyses, reports and documentation.
- Maintain a clearly documented audit trail of data, assumptions, methods and financial results
- Maintain up-to-date documentation of processes
- Support the business units in handling reinsurance arrangements and queries, including both reinsurance inward and outward business
- Liaise with other global AXA entities and external partners in product development and reinsurance inward projects
- Passed SOA preliminary exams or equivalent
- At least four years’ experience in the Life Insurance industry
- Good command of business English, both in written and spoken form
- Candidate with less experience will be considered as Senior Actuarial Analyst
