- Lead the development and enhancement of enterprise-wide technology risk and cyber resilience frameworks, ensuring alignment with regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
- Act as a second line of defense, guiding risk owners in identifying, assessing, and managing cyber and technology risks across the organization.
- Oversee the design, implementation, and effectiveness of control measures, ensuring consistent risk assignment and robust governance.
- Conduct thematic reviews and provide strategic advisory on technology-related operations, new products, and services.
- Evaluate residual risk levels and control effectiveness, recommending appropriate risk treatment strategies.
- Interpret and present key risk metrics to senior management, supporting informed decision-making.
- Coordinate assessments of emerging cyber threats and contribute to the continuous improvement of Business Continuity Management (BCM) and incident response capabilities.
- Champion security awareness initiatives and ensure compliance with internal and external security standards.
- Stay abreast of evolving cyber threats and technological trends, providing recommendations for adopting new technologies and standards.
- Supervise and mentor junior team members (1-2 direct reports), fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.
- University degree in Information Technology, Information Security, or a related discipline.
- Minimum 8 years of experience in technology risk management, information security, or IT audit, preferably within financial institutions.
- Proven experience in leading small teams and managing cross-functional stakeholders.
- Holder of relevant cybersecurity certifications (e.g., CRISC, CISA, CISM, CISSP) is preferred.
- Strong understanding of risk management frameworks and control standards (e.g., C-RAF, TM-E-1, TM-G-1, SA-2, HKMA circulars, SWIFT CSP, PCI DSS).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with fluency in English and proficiency in Mandarin.
