Our client is an innovative tech start-up that helps businesses address key ESG and sustainability reporting challenges by combining advanced technology with expert advisory services. They support companies in over 40 countries across various industries in developing and enhancing their ESG strategies through technology.They are seeking a hands-on tech lead who is passionate about building robust systems that stand the test of time. Your work will have a direct impact on daily operations and the lives of consumers in the Environmental, Social, and Corporate Governance (ESG) sector.Key Responsibilities:
  • Drive and facilitate technical decisions, collaborating closely with product and design teams to establish priorities and lead all development efforts.
  • Conduct high-quality programming and coding, with a particular focus on frontend and backend aspects.
  • Ensure the formation of a high-performing engineering team, starting with freelancers and eventually building and leading your own team. This includes hiring and fostering a culture that attracts exceptional talent.
  • Provide mentorship and guidance to junior developers, fostering their professional growth and ensuring adherence to best practices.
  • Conduct thorough code reviews to ensure code quality, performance, and security.
  • Oversee project timelines, deliverables, and resource allocation to ensure successful project completion.
  • Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies, and integrate innovative solutions to improve system performance and scalability.
  • Work closely with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical specifications and solutions.
Key Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Over 5 years of experience in designing and testing Node.js applications, with proficiency in modern JavaScript.
  • Extensive experience with TypeScript.
  • In-depth knowledge of the Nest.js framework.
  • Proficiency in Vue 3 or other modern frontend frameworks.
  • Experience with high scalability SaaS systems built using microservices architecture.
  • Hands-on experience with Kubernetes or other Docker orchestration tools.
  • Strong understanding of CI/CD processes.
  • Extensive experience with databases, preferably SQL with PostgreSQL.
