Key Responsibilities:Teaching:Deliver high-quality instruction in courses related to Education, with focus on Child Development, Educational Psychology, and/or Special Education, etc.Develop and implement innovative teaching strategies that foster student engagement and learning.Assess and evaluate student performance, providing timely feedback to support academic growth.Curriculum Development:Collaborate with faculty to design and update curriculum materials and course offerings that reflect current research and best practices in the field.Integrate technology and contemporary educational practices into the curriculum to enhance learning outcomes.Research:Conduct original research in areas related to psychology, with a focus on child development, educational psychology, or special needs.Apply for and win competitive grantsPublish research findings in peer-reviewed journals and present at academic conferences.Mentorship:Provide academic advising and mentorship to undergraduate and graduate students, supporting their professional development and career aspirations.Supervise student research projects and practicum experiences.Service:Participate actively in departmental meetings, committees, and college-wide initiatives.Engage with the community and professional organizations to promote early childhood education and advocate for children and families.Job Requirements:A doctoral degree in psychology from an accredited institution.An appropriate record of teaching, curriculum design and development in higher education.An appropriate and substantial record in research and scholarship.Demonstrated academic leadership.Fluency in Cantonese, Putonghua, and English will be advantageousCandidates with less experience will be considered as Associate or Assistant Professor.All applications applied through our system will be delivered directly to the advertiser and privacy of personal data of the applicant will be ensured with security.
