The TeamCundall's Structural Engineering team pride themselves on their exemplary track record of designing innovative and sustainable structural solutions that minimise the use of natural resources.As one of the longest established of Cundall's many disciplines, the Structural team are a source of world leading expertise - and offer a pro-active and collaborative approach to skill development, and professional excellence.The team now looks for an enthusiastic and talented Structural Engineer to join our team in Hong Kong.The RoleThis excellent opportunity would see you being based in our office in Hong Kong and working on some of the most exciting projects across Asia and internationally.As part of our established structural team for Asia, you would work closely with colleagues of various disciplines, participate design discussion, propose solution, prepare structural modelling, analysis and detailed calculation for multiple materials, using appropriate software.You will work across a variety of sectors and will have the opportunity over time to assume greater levels of responsibility and autonomy as your professional skills develop, and as you work and are supported towards Chartership with IStructE, ICE or the equivalent professional organization.The SkillsHaving already been accredited with at MEng degree level (or equivalent) in Structural Engineering and with 3 to 4 years' work experience already completed, you have gained strong practical experience of structural engineering within a consultancy environment, and a competent level of relevant IT skills, including appropriate structural modelling, analysis & design software.You have a solid understanding of the application of programming in structural engineering, such as parametric modelling, design, and optimisation. You have proven ability to produce creative design solutions in various conventional and unconventional structural materials, and crucially - you have a passion for creative and intuitive design. You have demonstrated enthusiasm for design technology and innovative solution to improve the design and performance of the built environment.You are organised and methodical in your approach to managing your tasks and priorities.
