About Our ClientOur client is a Leading Food Manufacturer with great international market presence. They are seeking for a Procurement Manager to lead the sourcing and procurement operations, with a strong focus on food ingredients and packaging materials. This role is ideal for a proactive leader who thrives in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and is passionate about optimising supply chain performance while maintaining strong supplier relationships.Job Description
  • Lead and mentor a small procurement team, ensuring accuracy and efficiency across the full purchase order lifecycle.
  • Oversee procurement activities for food ingredients and packaging materials, ensuring timely delivery and quality compliance.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to support long-term sourcing strategies.
  • Negotiate pricing and contract terms to secure the most favourable outcomes for the company.
  • Identify, evaluate, and onboard new suppliers to diversify and strengthen the supply base.
  • Drive continuous improvement in supply chain processes, including cost analysis, forecasting, and risk mitigation.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams and external partners to ensure seamless logistics and inventory management.
  • Prepare procurement reports and cost-saving plans for management review.
  • Support ERP and workflow optimisation initiatives, including system implementation and process enhancements.
  • Travel internationally to meet with key suppliers and attend industry events.
The Successful Applicant
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Finance, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of procurement experience in a manufacturing environment, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
  • Proven experience in food, healthcare, FMCG, or related industries is highly preferred.
  • Strong negotiation, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and ERP systems (experience with Kingdee, WMS, and SOP systems is a plus).
  • Excellent communication skills in English, Cantonese, and Mandarin.
  • Independent, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple priorities under pressure.
