Job Responsibilities:Oversee technical governance for the global network to meet company requirementsLead technical consultation to support clients and capability developmentManage business direction and product development to enhance and expand on testing services to support location revenueOverseeing the testing of consumer products for compliance with regulatory, quality and performance requirementsProviding technical support by managing risk in the form of the use of applicable regulations, standards interpretation and alignment of testing criteriaDeveloping and evaluating correlation studies between locations to determine gaps in knowledge and test practices. Determine corrective and preventative action plansDemonstrating on the job supervision and training by applying best training applications such as presentation, application and feedback, and adult learning principlesInitiating productivity improvement programs to find and fix process duplications, redundancies and inefficienciesCreating internal test methods, requirements, interpretation procedures to document best laboratory practicesUtilizing quality expertise and product familiarity to assess risk based evaluationsEnforcing test governance through scheduled integrity and technical audits to verify for compliance to testing and accreditation requirementsConsulting on manufacturing processes to improve quality and performance defectsLeading project capability development projects for new testing and/or services; andDriving the development and implementation of health, safety and environmental requirements at the test methodology levelRequirements:Degree or above in Engineering or Science related disciplineAt least 8 years experience in testing laboratory and 3 years in supervisory positionExperience in quality management systems for laboratoriesGood spoken and written Chinese and English. Mandarin is necessarySolid experience in problem solving, testing, consulting and analyzing dataStrong understanding of laboratory capabilities and test set up principlesGood communication, training and presentation skillsGood understanding on industrial standards, regulations, practices, and proceduresExperience in testing a wide range of consumer products.Strong auditing skill and knowledgeBusiness trips are requiredAll applications applied through our system will be delivered directly to the advertiser and privacy of personal data of the applicant will be ensured with security.
