- Budget: Achieve the IF budget for both inhouse and external IF
- Margin: Ensure healthy margin for the IF book with proper pricing
- Process: Ensure process is robust and smooth for sales customers, but yet have proper control in place to fulfil regulatory and internal requirements
- Product: Ensure IF product is competitive and have on-going enhancement as needed
- System & Digital Development: Lead any system & digital development / enhancements needed to develop / maintain the business
- Risk/Control: Ensure our IF business fulfils the regulatory and inhouse compliance and control requirements
- Planning/Reporting: Annual planning for the IF book and have regular management reporting to seniors
- Sales: manage the FAAS consultant team to deliver the business target
- Good understand of the market and competitors, come up the most appropriate business and product strategy
- Identify opportunities with new product ideas and/or new channel & distribution models, any new potential business partnerships
- Proactive engage the sales team to secure their buy-in on the business & product strategy / initiatives to help boost the IF business and meet the plan
- Engage sales team from time to time to understand the challenge faced by frontline and the new business trend, be proactive in coming up with tactical initiatives to help drive business
- Lead and drive the entire end-to-end implementation of product / business initiatives by working with our insurance partners as well as internal / group key stakeholders
- Competitive landscape and market analysis such that we are on top of development in market
- Pricing strategy to ensure healthy NIM that match our plan and business strategy
- Manage the end-to-end process for insurance financing
- Ensure the sales process is smooth for customers & sales, and also ensure the process fulfils any regulatory and inhouse guidelines
- Establish and maintain the operation process and flow with 10+ insurance companies
- Work with digital team to come up with system enhancement / digital development that is needed for the IF business
- Manage the relationship with 10+ insurance partners
- Ensure smooth process and operation flow with these insurers
- Identify any new opportunities with these partners, e.g. inforce policy financing
- Plays an active role in annual planning process with local & group
- Engage all sales heads to align on the annual planning targets and initiatives
- Come up with initiatives that is required in the annual planning to support the growth expected in the plan
- Monthly management reporting on results, key initiatives
- Identify opportunity with use of data help us make sound business decisions and steer the business in the right direction, a data driven operating model
- Work with data analytic team to come up with useful data analysis for the business
- Use of these data analysis in management reporting to demonstrate our DDOM capabilities
- Ensure we fulfil all the regulations and guidelines related to products / providers and we have proper controls/procedures in place
- Help support any internal / regulatory audits data submission or enquiries on product/provider related matters
- In-depth experience of secure lending, insurance financing, how to manage a secure lending book, process, pricing, margin, risk, control
- Ideally familiar with insurance and how insurance financing applies to an insurance product
- Sound understanding of Financial Services, to specifically include a working knowledge and application of audit and banking regulations
- Sound understanding of local insurance financing market in HK
