- Lead the strategic approach and execution of multi-million dollar proposals, tenders and bid responses. This includes:
- Reviewing procurement documentation, or requests for proposal, and formulating a clear plan for delivering a compelling offer.
- Acting as bid manager by mobilising senior bid teams, setting timelines and overseeing execution against the plan.
- Facilitating discussions focused on differentiators, win themes and content development to ensure high quality answers are developed by internal and external stakeholders.
- Ensuring that all deadlines are met and that bids are submitted on time, and in the correct manner.
- Working with Board-level directors and other functional teams to deliver tender responses through collation of information, writing tender responses directly, proofreading or supporting others to produce quality responses.
- Working with external organisations and partners to develop and deliver bids and proposals.
- Delivering a professional and compelling bid through application of best practice techniques and development of graphics
- Providing constructive feedback to senior leadership and partner organisations throughout the bid and interview process
- Facilitate the development of the pursuit team and approach for strategic opportunities and hold the account teams accountable to ensure delivery of pursuit plans
- Supporting bid positioning activities including undertaking competitor research and supporting speculative proposal development.
- Reporting on pipeline and bid conversion at Senior Leadership levels, including providing analysis and commentary on trends.
- Building bid skills across the Turner & Townsend Asia business.
- Support the preparation of other deliverables related to conversion, such as interview presentation coaching and clarifications management.
- Support Business Development with any other activity as required.
- Relevant degree in Business, Marketing, English or engineering.
- Association of Proposal Management Professional (APMP) accreditation desired, or willing to be completed
- Minimum 10 years' experience of bid management and writing successful bid submissions
- Proof reading skills with a keen eye for accuracy and detail, including ensuring responses adhere to word/page limits
- Organizational skills, with the ability to priorities and meet deadlines while maintaining a high standard of quality
- Communicate confidently and effectively, verbally and in writing and ability to foster credible collaborative relationships
- Team player who is willing to adapt to changing priorities of the business
- Contribute openly to the team with innovations and ideas to ensure the success and development of the company
