Our client, a leading insurance company in Hong Kong, is seeking a skilled Project Manager to join their Product Team on a 6-month renewable contract. The successful candidate will drive strategic initiatives to enhance insurance product offerings and improve operational efficiency. This role requires deep knowledge of insurance products, exceptional project management skills, and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams in a dynamic environment. Immediate candidates are preferred.Responsibilities of the Role:
  • Lead strategic projects focused on developing and enhancing insurance product offerings, or other specialized insurance products.
  • Develop comprehensive project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation, to ensure successful delivery within scope and deadlines.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders across product development, underwriting, claims, IT, and compliance teams to align initiatives with business objectives and regulatory requirements.
  • Drive operational efficiency improvements through process optimization, system enhancements, or digital transformation initiatives.
  • Identify and mitigate project risks, ensuring compliance with local and international insurance regulations.
  • Facilitate agile or waterfall methodologies, conducting sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives as needed.
  • Oversee quality assurance, testing, and successful implementation of project deliverables.
Requirements of the Role
  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Finance, Insurance, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of project management experience, with at least 3 years in the insurance industry and strong expertise in insurance products.
  • Proficient in both spoken and written English and Chinese
